The story

A bird worked in uncut polki with a ruby-red centre and CZ edging, warm gold tone over 925 silver, on a firm brooch pin. The head turns back over the wing, an old jadau habit.

Pinned to a bandhgala or a shawl through the winter wedding run, it does what brooches were made to do: finish the sentence. The bird measures 5.12 cm high and 3.36 cm across.
