The story

Navaratri work, the kind that comes out with the golu steps and the silk. A chain of fluted gold beads carries a large Lakshmi pendant, the goddess seated inside a coiled spiral with two peacocks above her.

Deep green oval beads hang beneath in a fringe. A bead chain holds a pendant of this size forward off the chest instead of letting it lie flat. Antique gold over 925 silver, fastening with an S-hook.
