The story

Strand upon strand of rice pearls carries a nakaashi deity pendant, peacocks flanking the figure, green and red kundan set into the frame, white moissanite catching what light the pearls miss. Antique gold plating over 925 silver throughout.

A hook closes it at the back of the neck. Malas like this used to leave the house once a year, and were remembered the other 364 days.
