The story

Chand Bali frames alternate with Lakshmi plaques, and each crescent holds a single freshwater pearl at its centre, which gives the eye somewhere bright to land in the middle of heavy goldwork.

Red and green beads hang beneath in a close fringe, dense enough to move as one mass rather than as separate strands. Antique gold over 925 silver, with a hook and eye at the back.
