The story

Inside the crescent, seed pearl clusters hang like fruit; above it, a red paisley of kundan sits in a pearl-ringed stud. The hoop itself is beaded gold-plated 925 silver.

Screws with clips anchor them well. Chand Balis are moon jewellery; wear them after sunset and the metaphor completes itself.
