The story

Kasu usually arrives by the dozen, strung into a mala. Here a short row of coins hangs from one pendant instead, each oval and engraved with Lakshmi. She sits again at the centre of the panel, with a parrot above either shoulder.

Maroon cabochons run through the lower band. Antique gold on 925 sterling silver, with a side hook behind. The coins swing, which a pendant of this size would not usually do.
