The story

Rose gold for about a centimetre, then white, then rose gold again, the whole way round. The chain under it is a fine flat box link, machine made in the Italian way, and the banding is the only thing happening on it.

Eighteen inches lands it at the collarbone, close enough to the skin to sit under a shirt collar or a kurta neckline without riding up. A lobster clasp closes it and the paperclip extender lets it out from there. This is a weekday collar, worn from the morning through to dinner.
