The story

A crescent of turquoise and red kundan set in tight tiles, with a peacock worked into the open centre and freshwater pearl clusters strung along the lower rim. Gold finish over 925 silver, hung from a kundan flower at the ear.

The shape reads across a room, and the turquoise gives the pair a colour of its own. This is third day of the wedding jewellery, and it goes on being worn long after.
