The story

Two fittings hold this one on. A post goes through the lobe, and a plain gold wire curves up and over the top of the ear, finishing in a small ball behind it. The lower wing comes to rest on the lobe, so the weight is carried in two places instead of one.

Each wing is a marquise outlined in CZ and left open through the middle, the upper one larger, with a small paved curl at the base. A single faceted marquise sits along the spine between two milky uncut stones, hot pink on the one and teal green on the other. At just under seven centimetres it climbs the ear rather than hanging from it.
