The story

Each paisley panel holds a seated Lakshmi, and between the panels sit marquise cut red and green kundan, the whole way round. Antique gold over 925 sterling silver, with the recesses left dark so the figures stay legible.

It opens on a hinge and closes with a pin, which matters at this weight: a closed bangle of the same scale would have to be forced over the hand.
