The story

Two forms in one earring: the crescent, and the small gold jhumka swinging from the base of it. A peacock plume fans across the full width of the chand bali. Dark and pink stones sit at the crown, and green beads finish the lower curve.

All of it is antique gold over 925 sterling silver. South Indian screw backs. It carries more presence than its size suggests.
