The story

Deep green, dark enough to read almost black against the gold, which throws the white kundan forward. The melon beads are carved, so they take light along their ridges rather than in one point.

Above them Lakshmi sits in an oval medallion ringed with white kundan, peacocks worked in green and red on either side, seed pearls clustered at the drops. Antique gold over 925 silver, hook and eye at the back.
