The story

Nothing happens on the band itself. Above it sit about ten acanthus leaf scrolls, each drawn out to a curling vine tip, radiating from an oval halo like a sunburst, the whole crown pierced so the gold reads as line.

At the centre is a single pear shaped polki, flat topped and milky with veils running inside it, ringed by a halo of bright faceted CZ. The band is cut at the back, the two ends running past each other, so it adjusts to the finger. Bright gold over 925 sterling silver, pierced right through, so it carries less weight than its span suggests.
