The story

Evening jewellery, for the reception rather than the morning ceremony. Against a darkened victorian surface white kundan reads brighter than it would on gold, and the red marquise petals keep their colour instead of sinking into it.

Peacocks and flowers cover the full width, green beads and freshwater pearls clustered along the lower edge. The work runs from one clasp to the other, panels set edge to edge. Hook and eye at the back, in 925 silver.
