The story

The pink is coral toned and soft rather than glassy, because the centre stone is carved and not cut. It sits rectangular at the middle of the kada, with smaller carved florals and polki on either side. Red enamel runs along both edges.

Carved stone chips more easily than faceted stone, so it is worth keeping off a hard tabletop. Openable, and sold as a single piece. Victorian finish 925 silver.
