The story

Whoever carved these peacock panels was not in a hurry. Heavy nakaashi work in 925 silver under antique gold, a round green stone at the centre, red kundan in the plumage, pearls and green beads dropping from the lower edge.

Its back rope ties at the nape and sets the length. It has the weight of jewellery meant to be handed on.

Put your jewellery on last while dressing, and take it off first.
After wear, wipe gently with a soft dry cloth. Complimentary polishing for one full year keeps it looking new.
