The story

Look once and it is a peacock: a bird head at the top with a round magenta stone for the eye and a small gold beak, a crested body of white pave sweeping left, a curled plume wrapping the base. Look again and the outline is a mango paisley, the shape that runs along a kanjeevaram border.

One large green pear stone fills the plume. The small whites are faceted CZ pave and the medium whites are flat table cut, and all of them sit in bright gold over 925 sterling silver. At 4.9 cm the brooch pin runs the length of the back, hinged at the top with a hook catch below.
