The story

Jaali lets the skin show through, which is why this crescent centre works so well at the throat. Red kundan in a pierced crescent, seed pearls scalloped along the edge in 925 silver and antique gold, maroon beads and a small kundan drop finishing the line.

It is lighter on the neck than the carving suggests. Good chokers keep that secret.
