The story

Pink here sits close to the tone of the gold rather than against it, so the piece reads warm instead of contrasting. Coral tube beads are set into the frame itself, green cabochons above and below them.

Lakshmi holds the centre with a parrot on either side, peacock links running out across the collar and pale pink teardrops hanging below. Hook and eye at the back, in antique gold over 925 silver.
