The story

Twin peacocks turn away from a fluted lotus rosette at the centre, with small gold ghungroo hanging in a row beneath the plaque. Behind it run several strands of faceted pink and green beads threaded with white rice pearls, sitting close to the throat.

The plaque holds the strands in line, so the choker keeps its shape through an evening of standing and greeting. It closes with a lobster clasp.
