The story

Two pave scrolls curl in from either side and close around one large oval green stone, each scroll ending in a small hooked head set with a red dot. A single uncut polki crowns the top, seven more finish the lower edge in a scallop, and the whole fan is bright gold over 925 sterling silver.

A safa piece for the morning of the baraat that stays on through the evening. The brooch pin takes a bite of close to 3 cm, enough to hold a fold of heavy silk or a jacket lapel. At 3.8 by 3.4 cm it reads from across a room.
