The story

Some rings live on the dressing table and get picked up on the way out of the house more days than not. This one is all pearl: rows of small freshwater pearls packed shoulder to shoulder over a gold plated band of 925 silver, the metal showing only at the edges.

The band is solid and a fixed size, sitting snug once it is on. It goes with cotton at eleven in the morning and with silk at eight.
