The story

Magenta beads, faceted so they throw pink rather than purple, strung in long runs and broken at the shoulders by bands of white pearls.

Gold peacock plaques sit between the sections, and a round Lakshmi pendant hangs at the front over a red bead fringe. The pearl bands stop the colour reading as one flat block down the chest. Antique gold over 925 silver, fastening with an S-hook.
