The story

The haar that comes out for the wedding at home and goes back into its cloth pouch the same night. Lakshmi seated on her lotus under fanned scrollwork, a second small Lakshmi at the base, teal beads fringing the gold ball drops.

The chain is flat woven mesh broken by paisley links, so it lies against the neck without twisting. Antique gold on 925 silver, and long enough to want a plain neckline under it.
