The story

Above the fan sits a single square polki, set corner up so the stone stands on a point. Below it the fan is pierced work: one large daisy at the base, a smaller one at each upper corner, and vine curls running between them.

The band is cut open at the back, so it adjusts to whichever finger you decide it belongs on. Gold plated over 925 sterling silver, left bright. Pierced right through, the fan wears lighter than its width suggests.
