The story

Between each round peacock medallion sits a barrel of open lattice, and under both hangs a small cluster of rice pearls and gold balls.

Alternating a solid medallion with an open barrel is what keeps the weight down across the full width. Red kundan dots run through the medallions. Antique gold over 925 silver, with a hook and eye at the back.
