The story

The one piece that goes on before anything else and comes off last. Paired black beads run in twin rows down a fine gold chain. At the front they gather into a filigree vati, with a chain tassel below it. Each strand of the tassel is tipped with another black bead.

It is light enough to sit under a collar all day without being felt. An S-hook closes it. The tassel keeps the front from lying flat against the skin.
