The story

A wide nakaashi panel with Lakshmi seated at the centre, hamsa and elephants worked into the surround, and red cabochons set through the frame. The colour is turquoise.

Turquoise onyx drops alternate with freshwater pearls along the base, and a side hook takes the chain. Cool stone against warm antique gold plating on 925 sterling silver, so it sits lighter than its size suggests.
