The story

Set flat in the jadau manner, the red kundan reads as one continuous field rather than as separate stones. Petals of deep red and white lie around a seated Lakshmi in a kite shaped frame.

Carved green melon beads and freshwater pearls hang from the lower edge. Antique gold over 925 sterling silver, with a side hook. The frame does the work here, and Lakshmi is small at the centre of it.
