The story

Seven cups, each raised by hand, hold seven uncut polki halfway round the band. The walls are hand finished, so no two cups are quite alike. Antique gold, milky white stone, nothing faceted.

The cup at each end is turned outward, so those two stones show from the side of the hand as well as the top. Small enough for the office day that runs into a dinner, and the band is split underneath, so it eases open to the finger.
