The story

An elephant head is worked into the square top bar, and below it the earring opens out in rows of white kundan with red marquise petals and green stones between. Freshwater pearl drops finish each row, with a green bead at the tip.

Long enough to be seen from the far end of a hall. The weight is spread down the cascade rather than gathered at the top, so they hang straight.
