The story

Between each uncut polki sits a pear cut red stone, the two repeating around a gold plated band. Pave closes the gaps between them. Red enamel runs along the inner rim, where only the wrist sees it.

Openable, and sold as a single bangle rather than a pair. Red against white polki, on Victorian finish 925 silver, is the pairing that holds its contrast under a hall light.
